The Internal Fibre Distribution Enclosure is used as a Floor Box or as a Building Entry Point in order to break out and splice optical fibre cables. Typically housed within a building riser or floor area, to distribute the circuits to the accommodation/business units on a specific floor or zone of a larger MDU, MBU or for an entry point into smaller buildings.
The slim two layers enclosure has multiple cable entry points (6 in total) to suit different mounting positions both vertically and horizontally. These can be used to support mid-span/in-line and cable (butt) end configurations.
Drop customer cables are managed through separate exit ports with cable tie strain relief features. Positive fibre management ensures 30mm minimum fibre bend radius maintained throughout.
Up to 27 splices (triple stacked) can be supported on the hinged multifunctional splice tray. The tray has two different/opposite areas to separate fibre storage from the splice area. It also includes features to accommodate splitters if required.
The enclosure cover is entirely removable to give a perfect access to the fibre storage and splice areas. The cover is secured with a twist lock and can be costumized with the network operator logo.
